American Association of University Women (AAUW) Scholarship
Since 1993, the AAUW Monona/Madison Branch has supported single-parent students through the Single Parent Scholarship Fund. The Returning Adult Student Award also benefits from donations in memory of national AAUW founding mothers Annie D. Swenson, the branch’s first president (1909), and Lois Mathews Rosenberry, UW–Madison’s dean of women and history professor (1911–1918).
These awards support undergraduate students who are single parents pursuing an undergraduate degree.
