David & Kato Perlman School of Pharmacy Student Scholarship
Kato (Katherine) Lenard Perlman established this fund to support students at the School of Pharmacy. David Perlman (BA ’41, MS ’43, PhD ’45) was a productive scientist who served as the dean of the School of Pharmacy and the Edward Kremers Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences. His wife, Kato, was a well-published research scientist who worked closely with Hector F. DeLuca on the synthesis of Vitamin D and developed 46 patents during her lifetime.
