Summer Housing Boost Application Summer 2026

Applications will open on Monday, February 9, 2026

The Summer Housing Boost program is for students taking courses at UW-Madison during summer 2026.

To be eligible for this program you must meet the following criteria:

  • An undergraduate student
  • Enrolled in at least half-time for the session in which you receive the Housing Boost (example: enrolled in at least 3 credits during the 8-week session)
  • Be eligible to reside in University Housing
  • Enrolled in Summer Term course(s) by April 5, 2026

The deadline to apply for Summer 2026 is 11:59pm on April 5, 2026.

You will be notified about your application status by April 10, 2026. Award notifications will be sent via email from summerterm@wisc.edu

Students who are not eligible to complete the FAFSA are especially encouraged to share information about their financial need in this section.
  8. The rooms provided in the Summer Housing Boost program will be double rooms in Waters Residence Hall. Please confirm that you understand that this is the room type which you will be assigned if you receive the Summer Housing Boost.
  9. You must enroll in your summer 2026 courses before your acceptance in the Summer Housing Boost program can be confirmed. Please confirm you will enroll in your courses by 11:59pm on Sunday, April 5, 2026.
