LFS Public Policy Internship Scholarship
The La Follette School’s Public Policy Internship Scholarship application is now open. Initial applications are due by close of business (5pm CT) Friday, May 2, 2025
Award Information:
• You do not need to have secured an internship at the time you apply for the scholarship
• The scholarship covers tuition (though not fees) for students who sign up to take Public Affairs 327: Administrative Internship along with their policy-related summer internship
• You must enroll in PA 327 to receive a scholarship — no other courses may be substituted
• Do not accept an internship with the expectation of receiving a scholarship – accept or reject it the same way you would whether or not you would receive funding
• The availability of and demand for funds vary each year; thus, the number awards may also vary. See https://lafollette.wisc.edu/career-development/internships/#financial for further details
• Final awards will be made before summer tuition is due
Additional Information:
As noted above, the deadline for consideration is Friday, May 2nd. Although we will prioritize funding for students who have already secured an internship, any excess funds may be awarded to students who applied by the deadline and obtained an internship after the deadline. Final awards will be made before summer tuition is due.
