Water Resources Management student scholarship application

Eligibility Criteria
The purpose of these scholarship awards is to support students in the Water Resources Management graduate program. Student applicants must be enrolled in the MS in Water Resources Management. Applicants must be in good academic standing, with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

For the David and Janet Daniel Scholarship in Water Resources Management, applicants must be eligible for in-state tuition, with preference for first generation students and veterans.

For the Jim Miller Graduate Scholarship for Excellence in Water Resources Management, applicants must be enrolled full-time.

Scholarship awardees are required to write a thank you to the scholarship donor(s) before the award will be processed. Awardees are expected to coordinate with the Nelson Institute’s Director of Advancement & Donor Relations regarding these letters.

Award Information
One $1,000 Jim Miller Graduate Scholarship for Excellence in Water Resources Management and two $2,000 David and Janet Daniel Scholarship in Water Resources Management awards are available to be awarded to during the Spring 2025 scholarship competition.

Applicants will be notified of their selection in April 2025 and will be honored at the Nelson Institute’s Recognition Reception to be held in the Fall of 2025.
