Steven A. and Barbara S. Jaffe History Scholarship

The Department of History awards two Steven A. and Barbara S. Jaffe Scholarships annually. This $3,000 award is designed for outstanding History majors who are not Wisconsin residents (for tuition purposes).

Eligibility Criteria
Recipient must be a declared History major who does not hold Wisconsin residency. Students must also be U.S. citizens in order to be eligible for this award. Students who will graduate in spring 2025, summer 2025, or who have already graduated are not eligible to receive this scholarship. Recipients will need to enroll at UW-Madison during the 2025-2026 academic year in order to receive this scholarship.
