Orson S. Morse History Scholarship

The $1,200 Orson S. Morse History Scholarship is given annually to two outstanding History majors. Mr. Morse received his degree in History from the College of Letters & Science in 1932 and established this bequest to support undergraduate history education.

Eligibility Criteria
Recipients must be declared History majors. Students who will graduate in spring 2025, summer 2025, or who have already graduated are not eligible to receive this scholarship. The recipients will need to enroll at UW-Madison during the 2025-2026 academic year in order to receive this scholarship.

Selection Criteria
Applicants will be considered based on the information provided in their application.
