Robert W. Flugum Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is in memory of Robert W. Flugum who was born in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin on June 12, 1924. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1948 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. His work was primarily concerned with applications, design testing and standardizing activities of power transmission and distribution equipment. In 1977, he was awarded a Distinguished Service Citation from the University of Wisconsin for his leadership in the nation’s electric power research programs. Following a brief illness, Mr. Flugum died on February 26, 1998 at the age of 73.

Selection Criteria
Scholarship for an electrical engineering student who has completed a course in power engineering. Preference to US citizens with at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
