Roy and Phyllis Habeck Scholarship

Roy Habeck served as superintendent of schools in New Glarus after receiving his PhD in Education Administration from UW–Madison in 1978. He believes strongly in supporting working educators aiming to become district leaders and administrators. To that end, he designated an estate gift to make awards to dissertators in ELPA’s “Wisconsin Idea” Executive PhD program.

Eligibility Criteria
Scholarship support for a dissertator in ELPA’s Wisconsin Idea Executive PhD program. Preference given to candidates aiming to become district leaders and administrators.
