Brian R. Fluno Scholarship

This fund was established in August 2004 by Brian R. Fluno, BSLA 1997, and is for the purpose of awarding a scholarship to an undergraduate student in the Department of Landscape Architecture.

The recipient must be an undergraduate student in the Department of Landscape Architecture, with preference given to a junior or senior with a minimum GPA of 3.25 (4.0 scale) in Department of Landscape Architecture courses only, not overall GPA.

Applicants must provide a list and description of extra curricular activities, a one page essay describing their interest in obtaining a degree in Landscape Architecture and future career and work plans. Also, Additionally a recent positive experience during the last two semesters within the Landscape Architecture Program is required. Preference will be given to a student from Illinois who has financial hardship due to the higher costs related to out-of-state tuition.
