Gary E. Lyons Scholarship

This fund was established by Jayne Squirrell to honor the memory of her late husband, Gary Edward Lyons, by providing scholarships to students enrolled in the University’s School of Medicine and Public Health. The Fund shall provide one or more annual scholarships to students enrolled in the School, with a preference for students who have overcome or face personal obstacles in their path toward a degree. This may include, but is not limited to, students with disabilities and “nontraditional and returning adult students,” as that term is defined by the University.
