Jake Leinenkugel Diversity in Brewing Award

The Jake Leinenkugel Diversity in Brewing Award is awarded to an undergraduate student enrolled in the College of Agricultural & Life Sciences with a preference for a major in Food Science who expresses interest in brewing or exploring a career in the brewing industry ((including, but not limited to, brewing science, fermentation as related to brewing, beer marketing, beer sales, brewery communications, and human resources).

Recipients of this scholarship have a strong potential to participate in a paid summer internship in Chippewa Falls or Milwaukee at a Leinenkugel’s brewery with possible housing assistance. Interns do not have to be 21 years or older.

Eligibility Criteria
This scholarship will support an Undergraduate student in CALS with a preference for a major in Food Science, interested in brewing and committed to advancing UW-Madison’s DEI initiatives
