James C. Hickman Study Abroad Scholarship
The Wisconsin School of Business is pleased to offer scholarships that broaden the student populations that participate on a business study abroad program. By offering financial support, this scholarship aims to support students who otherwise would not have studied abroad. Awards will vary in size from $1000 to $5000.

Eligibility Criteria
Recipients must be UW Madison business undergraduates studying abroad for at least one semester on a program administered by Wisconsin School of Business. In order to be considered for this award, an applicant must have submitted a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
How to Apply
UW Madison undergraduates who have been accepted, or are applying, to the Bachelors on Business Administration (BBA) Program, and will be studying abroad on a Wisconsin School of Business International Programs in an upcoming term may apply for this scholarship via https://scholarships.wisc.edu/StudentApp.
Selection Criteria
The primary selection criteria for this award will be financial need. Secondary criteria to be considered includes: academic record, involvement, and demonstrated interest in studying abroad.

Award Information
Awards are for one semester and range from $1000 to $5000.
Conditions of Award
From the time recipients are awarded this scholarship until they graduate, they will be expected to participate in International Programs outreach activities (including but not limited to: Business Study Abroad Slam and International Perspectives course returnee panel). Recipients will also be expected to complete any post-study abroad surveys administered by International Programs.
