- Have you submitted your Internship Verification form to get your internship approved for credit or verified that your international internship experience will be equivalent to International Studies 523?

- Will your internship take place in-person, outside the state of Wisconsin? Out-of-state experiences are those taking place in-person or in a hybrid environment that requires the student to be on-site out-of-state for a determined period of time, Fully remote, paid internships where the employer is headquartered outside of Wisconsin are not eligible for funding.

The list of expenses may include: Tuition cost to enroll in the required 3-credit internship course for the semester you'll be taking your internship(you can find general tuition rates here: https://viz.wisc.edu/views/TuitionandSegregatedFeeRatesforAcademicPrograms/TuitionSchedule?%3Aembed=y&%3Aiid=1&%3AisGuestRedirectFromVizportal=y). Travel expenses to and from the internship location (i.e., airfare, bus ticket, etc.). Average room and board in the area. Additional costs may be included in the budget if applicable (i.e., ground transportation, parking costs, etc.). Groceries, dining out, household or personal care items, and any other expenses that you would incur regardless of your internship site/location should NOT be included.
