Milwaukee Press Club Scholarship in Honor of Meg Jones

Operational details of the Fund. The purpose of this Fund is to provide scholarship support to one undergraduate students in the University’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication. The Meg Jones Scholarship shall be awarded to an undergraduate student studying Journalism on the reporting track who has a GPA of 3.0 or higher, with a strong preference for members of the UW Marching Band because Meg Jones was a proud member of the UW Marching Band. There is also a preference for financial need. If no students meet these qualifications, the Donor prefers that the scholarship be awarded to any Journalism undergraduate student with financial need. Scholarship recipients shall be selected according to the School of Journalism and Mass Communication’s established policies and procedures. The timing and amount of the award shall be determined by the Dean. The scholarship may be renewed.
