Allison Rose Murray Legacy Award
In order to apply, students must be currently pursuing their degree in the School of Human Ecology.
The School of Human Ecology is pleased to offer the Allison Rose Murray Legacy Award in honor of our friend, colleague, and Human Ecologist, Allison.
Allison graduated from the Consumer Science program in 2007 and spent her 14-year professional career in the School of Human Ecology, where she served as a Department Administrator, Academic Advisor, and most recently, Associate Director of Undergraduate Academic Programs, until her death in 2021.
Allison is remembered for her tireless work ethic, great sense of humor, and dedication to students and colleagues. Allison LOVED the School of Human Ecology and described SoHE students and colleagues as her family. She made a lasting impact on all of us. This award honors her legacy and commitment to the values of Human Ecology. We would like to learn about your love for SoHE and learn about your SoHE Pride!

- To apply for this scholarship, please share with us your response to "How do you demonstrate your love for SoHE, your SoHE Pride?" How do you improve the life of others in your daily life (at work, in your community, etc.)? In your response, we encourage you to be creative and use a medium that best aligns with your skillset. Some recommendations include creating a video (no more than 2 minutes long), designing visual art, or drafting up a written statement (500 words or less).
