Alma Baron Second Chance for Women
The Alma Baron Second Chance for Women Scholarship was founded in 2001 by Alma Baron, inspired by her own experience of returning to college at age 51 to pursue a doctorate in adult education. This scholarship supports female returning adult students over the age of 45. Following Alma’s passing in 2006, friends and family continue to honor her legacy by supporting this fund. We extend special thanks to her daughters, Dr. Jill Baron and Professor Ellen Jo Baron, for their generous contributions.
