Stuart Daily Seeds of Learning Fund

In 2004, Karen Doerfer Daily established the Stuart Daily Seeds of Learning Fund to support a returning adult graduate student, honoring the memory of Stuart G. Daily, a beloved teacher and mentor to many. Stuart taught both in England and at UW–Madison and also held roles in the corporate world. A dedicated athlete, he passed away unexpectedly after leading his rugby team to victory. Stuart’s greatest legacy was his knowledge, and he inspired others to pursue learning with passion and purpose.

Eligibility requirements include:

• Demonstrated financial need
• Good academic standing
• Potential for academic success
• U.S. citizen, permanent resident, asylee, or eligible non-citizen.

The application for this award is to be submitted through the ‘Scholarships for Nontraditional, Adult, & Single Parent Students’ opportunity. There are up to 15 individual scholarships associated with this one application, administered by the Division of Continuing Studies.
