Zillman Family Prize
The Zillman Family Prize was established by Donald and Linda Zillman. Donald graduated from University of Wisconsin Law School in 1969, where he was editor-in-chief of the Wisconsin Law Review. Following his graduation, Mr. Zillman became an expert in military law and energy law, writing over 50 law review articles and 12 books in those areas. Mr. Zillman served in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps; taught on several law faculties including Arizona State University, University of Utah, and University of Maine; and served as the Dean of the University of Maine Law School, Interim Provost of the University of Maine, and President of the University of Maine at Presque Isle. This scholarship is awarded to a second or third year law student who demonstrates distinctive and selfless service to the Law School and/or the broader legal community.
Conditions of Award
To be eligible for this award, you must:
- Be a full-time, second- or third-year law student in good academic standing
- Demonstrate service to the UW Law School and/or legal community
