Aaron J. Mace Scholarship Fund
The Aaron J. Mace Scholarship Fund supports undergraduate students in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication and was established through the estate from Elizabeth J. Rojahn in memory of her uncle, Aaron Mace.
About the process: Students do not apply for individual scholarships with the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Students fill out one application and the scholarship committee matches students to awards. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academics, study area and involvement. Seniors graduating in the spring or summer terms

Donor Information
In his youth, Aaron Mace carried papers for the Northwestern and looked upon the reporters and editors as God-like figures. After attending UW-Madison and serving in the Army, Mace returned to Oshkosh and joined the Northwestern in 1919. He held all the top editorial posts in the course of his 42-year tenure in the editorial department.
