Don Dornbrook Scholarship Fund
The fund shall be used to provide scholarship support to students enrolled in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
FAFSA required prior to awarding decisions. Preference in selection is given to students on the journalism track who also have financial need.
About the process: Students do not apply for individual scholarships with the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Students fill out one application and the scholarship committee matches students to awards. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academics, study area and involvement. Declared School of Journalism and Mass Communication majors
Seniors graduating in the spring or summer terms
Who is not eligible to apply?
Seniors graduating in December of the current term
Donor Information
After graduating from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication in 1939, Don Dornbrook had a long career imprint journalism with newspapers in Wisconsin and Illinois, spending the majority of his career with the Milwaukee Journal.
