Mollie E. Buckley Scholarship Fund - Journalism

The Mollie E. Buckley Scholarship Fund in Journalism was established in 2002 with gifts from co-workers, colleagues and friends to recognize and honor Mollie’s 40-year career in communications.

FAFSA required prior to awarding decisions. Preference in selection is given to junior and seniors within strategic communications. Special preference is given to female students who demonstrate a commitment to nonprofit strategic communications.

About the process: Students do not apply for individual scholarships with the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Students fill out one application and the scholarship committee matches students to awards. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academics, study area and involvement.
