Barb Pearson Athletic Training Scholarship

This scholarship was created by Brian McWilliams ’96, a UW–Madison’s Kinesiology alum. He wishes to honor Barb Pearson ‘84 who worked as an athletic trainer in the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics from 1989 to 2000. During that time, she worked primarily with the UW–Madison football program. She provided care to student athletes during some of the program’s most successful seasons. Barb served as a role model for many aspiring athletic training students. Her work ethic and dedication to her profession were qualities that many sought to emulate. Many students and countless patients are better off because of her dedication. Barb is a native of Monona, Wisconsin.
