Deaton Family Memorial Scholarship

The Deaton Family Memorial Scholarship was created by Dianne Vielhuber (BS 1989 Life Sciences Communication) in loving memory of her father, Richard “Dick” Deaton. Dick’s lifelong passion for agriculture encompassed growing up on a farm, becoming very involved in the dairy industry throughout his professional career, judging cattle at county and local fairs, and being involved in agricultural organizations, including youth organizations.

Eligibility Criteria
Awarded to Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors majoring in Dairy Science.
