Sonja J. Maas Scholarship in Education

This scholarship was created in memory of Sonja J. Maas. Sonja received her BA and MA from the University of Maryland, and took a Scandinavian studies course at UW–Madison while she was pursuing her PhD. She held many teaching positions throughout her career and retired in 1988 after 40 years of teaching.

Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate or graduate student in a Teacher Education program. Is renewable for up to 2 years, so long as the recipients maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and remain in the Teacher Education Program.
