Wisconsin Livestock and Meat Council Award

This scholarship was established by Wisconsin Livestock & Meat Council. The Wisconsin Livestock and Meat Council Inc. is a 58-year-old company located in Wisconsin. They established the Wisconsin Meat Industry Hall of Fame to recognize the contributions of individuals who have had a significant impact on the meat industry of Wisconsin.

Eligibility Criteria
Awarded to beginning freshmen or transfer students in CALS majoring in animal science, with preference given to Wisconsin residents. Recipient will demonstrate an interest in the livestock and meat industry. Incoming freshmen are to have been in the upper 50% of their high school class. Award recipients must possess a record strong in academic achievement and extracurricular activities with preference given to need for assistance. Minimum GPA is 3.0
