Dr. William P. & Mrs. Luella S. Mortenson Scholarship

Dr. William P. Mortenson and Mrs. Luella S. Mortenson, both distinguished UW-Madison instructors, had long and respective careers in their respective fields. Dr. Mortenson taught for nearly 30 years in the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics and authored of more than 100 technical articles and five books. Luella Mortenson, also a UW instructor, served as a Home Economics Extension Agent and as Director of Home Economics Extension. She was also heard frequently on WHA radio. The Mortenson scholarship is for CALS and SoHE students to commemorate their careers on campus.
