Shana J. Heimerl Memorial Scholarship

The Shana J. Heimerl Memorial Scholarship provides a one-time award to an undergraduate student pursuing the fine arts from the College of Letters & Science.

Recipients are evaluated using donor criteria and College of Letters & Science criteria (academic excellence, community service, leadership, diversity, strength of character, and creative accomplishment). Students who are not current recipients of Letters & Science multi-year scholarships are given priority. Students must be in and maintain good standing and full-time enrollment in the College of Letters & Science.

This scholarship honors the memory of Shana J. Heimerl’s creative and loving spirit. Shana was a talented painter, accomplished violinist, and a lover of words and poetry. This scholarship provides financial assistance to undergraduates in the College of Letters and Science, who are pursuing studies in fine arts, music, or creative writing.
