Truman & Sylvia Graf Scholarship

Dr. Truman F. Graf, Emeritus Professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics, and his wife, Sylvia Graf, graduate of the School of Home Economics (now known as the School of Family Resources and Consumer Sciences) established this scholarship fund on December 23, 1989. Truman received B.S. (1947), M.S. (1948), and Ph.D. (1953) degrees in Agricultural Economics at the University of Wisconsin. During his active career, Dr. Graf advised students, taught short course and degree students, did extensive research in dairy marketing and the analysis of market potential and the economic feasibility of introduction of sterilized milk concentrate into the institutional markets throughout the United States. He and his wife, Sylvia, are dedicated to aiding youth with leadership potential in securing a University education in Agricultural Economics.

Eligibility Criteria
Awarded to undergraduate students in CALS majoring in Agricultural Economics or Agricultural Business Management. Preference given to freshmen from Wisconsin with a farm background. Minimum GPA 3.0 required. Leadership in clubs, organizations or activities must be demonstrated.
