Roger Biddick Scholarship

Mr. Roger D. Biddick was an outstanding student when he attended the University. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1947 with a B.S. in Meat and Animal Science, after completing three years of service in the United States Navy. He then returned to his home community of Livingston, Wisconsin and to his family’s farm. He subsequently became President of the Trelay Farms, Inc., and under his direction, Trelay Farms, Inc. grew to be listed by Successful Farming Magazine as one of the 300 largest farms in America. He greatly valued the education and training he received at the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, and he worked closely with its College staff and administration over the years. His service to the College was outstanding, serving on numerous Advisory Committees and the College’s Board of Visitors. For his outstanding service to agriculture, to his community and the state, and for his loyal support to the University and the College, he was awarded the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences Distinguished Service Award in 1975.
