Carole Walsh Demeter Scholarship

Carole J. Walsh was a long-time member of the Daughters of Demeter, an organization that provides scholarships and sponsors events in support of the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. After graduating from the UW-Milwaukee with a BS in Special Education, Ms. Walsh taught special education in the Madison area, and always had an appreciation for higher education. The scholarship that bears her name was established by her husband, former CALS Dean Leo Walsh, to honor her memory and passion for gardening and landscaping.

Eligibility Criteria
Awarded to Junior or Senior standing students with a career interest in Gardening, Landscaping Plants or Arboriculture.
