William T. Dible Terra International, Inc. Scholarship

After receiving his master’s and doctorate in soil chemistry and plant physiology from UW-Madison, William T. Dible began his career working for International Minerals & Chemical Corp. in Chicago. In 1964 Dible parted with International Materials to co-found Terra International, an agricultural manufacturing plant in Sioux City. Throughout his life Dible was extensively active in the community; serving as an officer on a variety of committees and volunteer endeavors. This scholarship serves to honor his accomplishments and lifetime contributions to agriculture.

Eligibility Criteria
Awarded to CALS graduate students majoring in Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Breeding and Plant Genetics, Plant Pathology, or Soil Science.
