Standish Henning Shakespeare Prize
The Standish Henning Shakespeare Prize is awarded to the best essay written and submitted by an undergraduate majoring in English and completing one of the English Department’s upper- level Shakespeare courses (English 431 or 432). The selected essay will demonstrate exceptional writing. Essays must contain a cover page and be submitted in PDF format.
Professor Andrew Weiner (emeritus) established this prize in recognition of his teacher and colleague Professor Standish Henning (emeritus).
