Bruce Mjaanes Memorial Scholarship

Bruce Mjaanes graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1967 and was a respected and much beloved history teacher at Madison West High School for 43 years. He returned to the School of Education in 1983 to earn a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. His family established this scholarship in his memory to support undergraduate teacher education students who will follow in Bruce’s footsteps as great teachers. Bruce loved his time at UW–Madison and his family is eager to support the next generation of Badger educators.

Eligibility Criteria
A student admitted to a teacher education program who demonstrates financial need.
