Dennis R. Buege Meat Science Endowed Student Assistance Scholarship

To recognize Dr. Dennis Buege’s long and distinguished career in Meat Science at the UW and as an advisor to the Wisconsin Association of Meat Science Association (WAMP), the association set up this scholarship in his name. The “meat science guy”, as he was known, was considered a national resource for information on the nutritional composition of fresh and processed meat.

Eligibility Criteria
Awarded to undergraduate or graduate students who plan to pursue a career in the field of meat science.
