Chiquita Brands Fritz Friday Food Science Scholarship

In 1998 Chiquita Brands established this scholarship for the purpose of paying tribute to the life, work, and contributions of Fritz Friday – a prominent leader in the Wisconsin food processing industry. Mr. Friday served the canning industry for many years as President of the Wisconsin Food Processors Association and Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the National Food Processors Association. The scholarship serves to invest in the education of future leaders for the food industry.

Eligibility Criteria
Awarded to CALS undergraduate or graduate students majoring in Food Science. A minimum GPA of 3.5 is required. Extracurricular activities are considered.
