Karen A. Falk Diversity in Teacher Education Scholarship (AS)

Karen Falk ’80 and Tom Falk ’80 are both alumni of UW–Madison. Karen majored in education and Tom majored in business. The Falks established this scholarship because they recognize the need for more diversity in the teachers who inspire their students in K-12 classrooms in Wisconsin and throughout the nation and the subsequent need to improve and increase the diversity within the teacher education certification program.

Eligibility Criteria
Students from underrepresented groups in teacher education programs.
