Cedric & Ethel Parker Scholarship

The Cedric and Ethel Parker Scholarship Fund supports an annual scholarship for undergraduate students of merit in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Mrs. Parker was a proud graduate of the School (’28) and the Parkers were loyal supporters of and greatly involved in the University.

Preference in selection is given to students who have outstanding academic merit and potential for success in the field.

About the process: Students do not apply for individual scholarships with the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Students fill out one application and the scholarship committee matches students to awards. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academics, study area and involvement.
