Tanya Rand Quest Scholarship

The Tanya Rand Memorial Scholarship in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison was established in 1990. This memorial scholarship honors Tanya Rand, who was a Kellogg Quest Scholarship recipient majoring in horticulture and agricultural journalism who died at the age of 21 in a tragic wind storm on Sunday, June 3, 1990. Tanya had been camping in Rocky Arbor State Park, near Wisconsin Dells, when an oak tree was uprooted by high winds and fell on her tent, causing her tragic death.
