Ruth & Carl Miller Academic Merit Award

This Fund was established with gifts from Mrs. Ruth Miller in memory of her late husband, Carl J. Miller. Mr. Miller graduated from the College of Letters and Science and played football at UW-Madison. He went on to have a career in food storage and merchandising for the USDA. Both Carl and Ruth were involved in agriculture all their lives. The Ruth and Carl Miller Scholarship Fund supports “Merit or Quest scholarships in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences for graduate or undergraduate students who demonstrate strong academic performance and leadership characteristics.”

Eligibility Criteria
Awarded to undergraduate or graduate students in CALS who demonstrate strong academic performance and leadership. A minimum GPA of 3.5 is required.
