William L. and Hallie G. Wendorff Scholarship

William L. Wendorff ’64, MS ’66, PhD ’69 majored in Food Science, specializing in the Dairy & Food Industry. His wife, Hallie G. Wendorff ’67 majored in Interior Design. Bill was a professor at UW-Madison in the Food Science department and served as department chair for five years. Bill and Hallie enjoyed watching individuals take a short course and then turn their dairy or cheese business into something bigger than it was, and felt that UW has been good to them.

Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduates interested in studying dairy foods including but not limited to milk, cheese, cultured and whey products.
