Tim Gattenby Scholarship

This scholarship was created by Blair Mathews and Karen Johnson Mathews, who wanted to honor Tim Gattenby. Gattenby joined UW–Madison in 1986 as a distinguished faculty associate. He enhanced adapted physical fitness for students and built the adapted fitness program in the Department of Kinesiology.

Eligibility Criteria
Physical Education majors with Adapted PE concentration. Applicants must have 3.0 GPA, completed Kines 316 with a grade of B or higher, be recommended by a coordinator and/or instructor of APE, and provide evidence of volunteer experience with disabled individuals.
