Gavin & Mary Weis Research Scholarship

The Gavin and Mary Weis Research and Scholarship Fund was established with memorial gifts to recognize the accomplishments and character of Professor Weis, and of his service to Wisconsin’s agricultural community and his partnership with the University of Wisconsin that he shared with his wife Mary.

FAFSA required prior to awarding decisions

Eligibility Criteria
Awarded to CALS undergraduate students majoring in Horticulture or other plant sciences. Students must demonstrate leadership in their field and have a minimum GPA of 3.5. The department of Horticulture nominates students for this award.
