Bradford Richmond Award
About the Donor
Bradford Richmond was a prominent third generation farmer in the town of York in the late 1800s. The family operated 273 acres that devotes particular attention to the breeding of pure registered Galloway cattle, registered French coach horses, Durock Jersey hogs, and Shropshire sheep. Mr. Richmond left the remains of his estate to assist deserving students of agriculture to acquire an education.

Awarded to CALS students, incoming freshmen preferred, who intend to work in an agricultural field dealing with farming or production after graduation.
