William & Janice Ward Family Study Abroad Scholarship

After returning serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II, William W. Ward graduated with a BS in Agricultural Education in 1948 from the University of Wisconsin. Ward and his wife Janice ran a dairy farm for more than 40 years in Fort Atkinson where they were active in the community. In addition to farming, Mr. Ward served on the board of Education, Rotary, the Bank of Fort Atkinson, the Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital Foundation, and the Fort Atkinson Historical Society. This scholarship is in memory of the Ward family and their contribution to community and agriculture.


Eligibility Criteria
Awarded to undergraduate students in CALS who are studying abroad or participating in international internships. CALS majoring in Dairy Science and studying abroad.
