Marsha G. Ehrlich

The University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Spanish & Portuguese has received an endowment from the estate of Marsha Gray Ehrlich. Marsha graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with her Masters in Spanish in 1968. To honor Marsha’s lifelong interest in and commitment to Spanish language and culture, the donors wish to support students and research within the Department of Spanish & Portuguese. We will present two awards totaling $5000 to two undergraduate students at the end of the spring semester.

To be eligible, students must show a sustained commitment to community service related to the Spanish or Portuguese language and/or culture. We are looking for third- or fourth-year students in good academic standing with a declared Spanish or Portuguese Major, or a Certificate in Spanish Studies for Business Majors.
