Award Details
- Four-year scholarship valued at $5,000 (Wisconsin/Minnesota residents) or $10,000 (Nonresident) per year.
Note: Offered dollar amount may vary based on other financial support from the University or School of Business.
- Assigned mentor from Baird
- Guaranteed paid internship at Baird Financial following the first year in the School of Business
- Financial support towards the cost of housing during the summer internship
- Enhanced career coaching experience through periodic check-ins beginning with the first semester in the School of Business

Eligibility
- High School Senior admitted to UW-Madison and the Undergraduate Business Program for the Fall 2023 term
- Demonstrated potential to positively impact populations traditionally underrepresented in Business
- Enrollment in the Undergraduate Business Program
- Achieve and maintain a 3.0 Overall GPA at UW-Madison
- Business students of all majors are eligible.

While Baird is known for providing financial services and advice, career opportunities are available across most core areas of Business study. Students planning to study Finance, Accounting, Management, HR, Information Systems, and Marketing – or a combination of these – are encouraged to apply.
