PT-1 Ridley Family Physical Therapy Scholarship

The Ridley’s established this scholarship after Ted was cared for by physical therapists during the follow-up care from his brain tumor surgery. Ted lived for 11 more years and the Ridley’s wanted to recognize all the benefits he gained from his care.

Eligibility Criteria
Enrolled as a first year DPT student at UW-Madison at time of application. You must have a 3.2 minimum cumulative GPA based on a 4.0 system.

Application Process
Prepare 2-3 paragraph responses, maximum of 500 words, to the scholarship you would like to be considered for. Show your evidence of service to the UW-Madison and/or community, evidence for potential leadership in the field of physical therapy and your plans for a career in physical therapy.

Selection Criteria
The recipient will be selected by the UW-Madison DPT Program’s scholarship committee and notified via email by April 21, 2023.

Award Information
There are two scholarship available each for $2,500.00 to be directed at tuition only.

Conditions of Award
If, in the opinion of the committee, there are no acceptable candidates, a scholarship may not be given this year.
