Wisconsin Lee Enterprises Scholarship
The fund was established in June 1973 by Lee Enterprises, publishers of the Wisconsin State Journal and the Capital Times. The fund benefits the School of Journalism and Mass Communication, specifically for undergraduate student support.
Preference in selection will be given to journalism students who plan to enter a newspaper career. Special consideration is given to students from LaCrosse and Racine.
About the process: Students do not apply for individual scholarships with the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. Students fill out one application and the scholarship committee matches students to awards. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academics, study area and involvement.
