Merton R. and Peggy E. Barry Fellowship

This scholarship was created by Merton and Peggy Barry. Peggy Barry received her undergraduate degree from the School of Education in 1945. She went on to pursue a graduate degree in Library and Information Studies. Professor Merton Barry, was an emeritus professor in the College of Engineering, he received bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Department of Art. He was a teacher in the Department of General Engineering; Director of International Engineering Programs; Member UPADI Committee and U.S. National Commission for UNESCO. He spent a year studying jewelry making in Zurich, and was a Fulbright Scholar in the Netherlands from 1949 to 1950.

Full-time graduate student(s) in art.
